Composing and recording score all music for feature film written
and directed by Annie Griffin. This project involved flying the
Drambue Pipe Band to Spain to record music written for the film
to be recorded with an Eighty piece Semana Santa bugle and drum

Alyth McCormack and the (seventy piece) Glasgow Islay Choir.

The Arches, Glasgow, Showcase Scotland, supported by The SAC
and the British Council. |
Commissioned performance and composition of twelve new songs.
..one of the most thrillingly cutting-edge performances Celtic
Connections has ever seen. Comprising a suite of radiantly melodic,
groove-driven songs, delivered by a Norwegian and a Swedish/Malawian
vocalist, together with a nine-piece Scottish band, it took place
behind a translucent gauze screen, which carried a live video
mix of pre-recorded film footage. Awash with luscious vocal harmonies,
and incorporating liberal elements of hip hop, R&B, funk and
soul, it was both a visual and an aural feast Sue Wilson,
Scottish Sunday Herald. |

initiated and developed the electronic music club in
Oxygen, Edinburgh. This popular club was set up to, to informally
stimulate networking and encourage collaboration between musicians
working in electronic music. Musicians mixed with singers, rappers,
boffins and the general public every Tuesday evening for six months.
The evening was set up in the model of folk music sessions with
musicians sitting around tables jamming and discussing ideas except
the idea was to do this with synthesisers, Theremins and the like.
Musicians, who were encouraged to come along and plug in often
could not get through the door it was so jammed with people who
had come to see/hear the spectacle
