Wonderment - Tune of the day

As A child I would often lie on my back in wonderment, watching the clouds slowly swirling and changing, dreaming of the future and what life would be like when I was 'big'. Imagine what I might have thought if I had suddenly been transported from the early seventies into the present day.

The world has changed so much were were no laptops, or cell phones and the only video game I remember was that tennis game, what was it called? The one with a centre line on the screen two short dashes either side for bats and a square ball!

We have made amazing advances in surgery, vaccines, treatments, etc. that have extended the lifespan of people well into the 70s,80s and 90s. Sexual attitudes have changed hugely, we've had feminism and gay rights. The nature of war has also changed, I wonder how this period will be viewed in the future, the third world war perhaps? The planet seems to have been in a continuous state of war and many wars seem to be endless very few countries have been untouched by it.

Where is it all heading? mp3s have changed the music industry for ever and the e-book seems set to do the same for the book publishers. The computer is the new guitar!

I'm not trying to tell the history of my life time just daydreaming in front of my laptop when I should be gazing at the clouds.
